Pau d'Arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa), also known as Lapacho, is a huge canopy tree native to the Brazilian rainforest. Nearly 100 species of Lapacho are known, but only a few of these produce the best quality bark for use in Rio Amazon tea. Rio Amazon teabags are made with unbleached paper.

Immerse teabag in boiling water for minimum 3-5 minutes before removing from mug.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat
Caution: Pau d'Arco should not be taken simultaneously with strong acid products like vitamin C as this may affect potency of the herb. Not to be taken by people with bleeding disorders.
