Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus) from the Greek island of Chios has been chewed by peoples of the Eastern Mediterranean for centuries. Mastic Gum contributes to the gastrointestinal system. The gum has been micronised so it is now available as a supplement in a capsule which can simply be swallowed.
